De Boot

This converted freighter from 1928 boasts picturesque countryside views in Merkem, 11 km from Diksmuide. Guests can enjoy having the entire boat to themselves which includes a bar and terraces.

Situated on the Ieper-IJzer canal in an area ideal for recreational cycling, De Boot also offers bicycle rental. The centre of Ieper is 25 minutes’ drive away. Private parking is available on site.

Guests can book the boat for one person or book up to 5 extra beds to stay as a group. The terraces are ideal for picnics and barbecue facilities are provided.

De Boot includes free Wi-Fi, a living area and kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave and tea and coffee making facilities. There is also a special ‘snoring’ cabin with a single bed which overlooks the fields.
